Last time I dined here I had one of the worst veggie burgers I've ever come across so I was unsure what to expect but they seem to have a new menu and I tried the vegan schnitzel and avocado wrap and it was delicious.The sweet potato wedges were so much tastier than the hog's tail fries I had last time which were dry. The apple crumble and ice cream was also delicious and the service was friendly. It's good they have vegan and vegetarian options. I'm glad I tried it again.

Hogs Breath Cafe has always been expensive but as a couple for a nice dinner date with a nice view at Garden City new eatery venue I think it is worth the money. Food was very good and did not wait long for the meal.
The movies are close by so can't really loose.
Customer service 10/10 from the lovely young Brittany! Her attitude is contagious.. Very informative and friendly. A valuable asset to this company.
Last night was our second time dining at this Hog's Breath and we really enjoyed it. We arrived a bit early and there were only a few tables occupied so we were seated quickly and I ordered my favourite mocktail.
Our waitress was very bright and explained the specials of the day and new meals. I usually just order a few entrees or sides so I decided to try the classic potato skins and g partner ordered a steak and ribs combo. We didn't wait long and then we were digging in. The skins looked like a small serving but they were actually very filling and I'm addicted to the fries and their bbq sauce. My partner loved the ribs and steak he thought was cooked wonderfully.

Disappointed with the steak we ordered. Thought we would give it a try from the Norman or Morrison. Steak was cold, veggies tasteless and overpriced for what you get. Waited half hour for our steaks. Service wasn't to bad. Don't know what all the fuss is about with this place. Very average. Lesson learnt. Stick to the experts when it comes to steak.
I didn't have high expectations for this dinner but was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The waitress was pleasant and attentive and the timing of the meals excellent. While the vegetables were fairly bland, the steak was extremely tender and tasty. Due to the nature of long slow cooking, medium rare looks more like medium to well, but don't let looks deceive you. It was good to see some interesting cocktails on the menu too.
The manager/owner is great! never received such great customer service at a hogs breath until him. chips were a bit cold but the Caesar wrap was great - decent amount of filling unlike other hogs breath cafes.

High Priced but Sometimes Worth a 2nd Try. As I recalled earlier this year my wife & I sat down for lunch at this place for a nice lunch. The service was friendly and decor was excellent as usual. Food came out above average (but I do notice sometimes can be very inconsistent with their cooking qualities) and special cocktails made at the bar were awesome. All in all we both had a wonderful experience but only downfall was the expensive bill. I like this place but will check my wallet before entering next time. I rate this place 5/10.
It was enjoyable, but not amazing. You'll always leave full and satisfied. However, Never get the meal of the day, the proportions are tiny. The only thing I would complain about were the staff being overly persistent. During our meal, the waiter came over 4 times to offer us drinks. I understand you want to make money for the business, but did you have to cut into my conversation every time and interrupt me?
Affordable and comfortable setting for a great dinner with friends. Parking is free for first 3 hours. Good services and food with nice atmosphere.
Everything was delicious! The guy greeting us was very polite and patient with my partners difficult order on keto friendly questions and suggestions so a big thanks to that guy. It was noisy but what do you expect in a publuc sitting restaurant cafe.
